The facility is an historic one, very elegant and cosy, overlooking the city and in a woody area. The managers were very friendly and helpful. They upgraded my accommodation due to plumbing problems. The breakfast was delicious and handmade. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful historical home and we had a stunning room with a four poster bed.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Great location on our drive from Hobart to Cradle Mountain, with stunning waterfalls 20-60 minutes away. The updated modern private bathroom was a great addition to the room. The radiator heated the room surprisingly well considering how large and tall the room was.
The historic nature of the accommodation was lovely. The host was fabulous as was breakfast. The en-suited room was quaint yet modern with a nice combo of old and new. Quiet and great for a night or two. An awful lot cheaper than Strahan which seems overpriced for what and where it is given how close Queenstown is.
This old hotel, re-developed with a lot of time and hard work into a BnB, was authentic, charming and a little quirky. The host was friendly and helpful and room facilities were very good, especially the 'pretend' open fire which was a nice touch and worked efficiently. We had a roomy private bathroom directly opposite in the hall. The whole property is spacious with a large lounge. The original bar is the dining room and adds an original touch. Self-serve continental breakfast was simple, but adequate. Nice central location.
The hotel owner was friendly and the hotel has an old charm feel. It was quiet and within walking distance of groceries and pizza shops. It had all the comforts one could hope for, with facilities to make coffee and tea, a fireplace, chairs, and a private bathroom. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Thank you so much.
Great location for being based and explore the area or just sleep overnight after have drove and travelled. Quiet stay and good service overall in site for an affordable price. Remote reception but easily reachable and available to guests supports and enquiies.
Cute rooms, great location a short walk to town and the Wilderness Railway. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Spacious rooms that were quiet and comfortable.
Great location next to the railway station for Wilderness departures. Lovely heritage building inc a marvellous staircase. A good continental breakfast that was well set up in a beautiful heritage dining room. Quiet.
