The Settlers Inn pub was fantastic. Completely modern and very very affordable. Monday was $15 meals. I had a large piece of salmon with mash and greens. Unheard of in Canberra. A piece of toast with avo and a egg costs $22.

The owner was so friendly when greeting me . I was able to park off the road . The room was luxurious with the most comfortable bed and furnishings set in a tropical rainforest . I felt like I was st a retreat .

Can’t fault this recently refurbished motel - great location, superb room (Pacific Suite) with fabulous view over the water, really clean, well equipped, good kitchenette with nice crockery, comfy beds, good toiletries, lovely shower, quiet at night, private car park… Everything you could ask for! Would love to return next time we’re in Port Macquarie.
