great staff, private , beautiful room , central to city centre , grand old building that the owners have not only preserved a classic building, but turned it into a really quiet sophisticated hotel.
Hotel is situated in a great location, close to cafes & boutique stores. The supermarket is close by too. The room we had faced the Main Street but it was quiet. The carpeted floor and room heating made it comfortable. We did have a room with a kitchen but because of the location we barely used it. The location made it ideal for a relaxed trip away.
Cheap and cheerful. We had an ensuite room. It was dated, but clean, spacious. Bare furnishings. Great location and a great price. Very quiet. Comfy bed. The pub itself is lovely. I really like that they haven't modernised it too much. Friends stayed in a small room with no ensuite - it was tiny!
