The hospitality from Stuart and his wife was nothing less than 10 out of 10 absolutely exceptional! Such a beautiful, private, tranquil and unique property facing the Stirling ranges. Delicious home made produce was superb.

Beautiful views from the cottage, comfortable beds, great playground for the kids, felt quiet and safe. Water from tap tasted better than our water at home! (I was advised it is filtered rain water). Kind owner, who upgraded one of our two bookings so our family of 7 could be closer together on the property. Thank you, Rhonda 🙂

Monderup Escape is what the name says: An escape. The quiet is amazing. You can literally listen to the wind and enjoy the sight of Stirling Range in the far. It‘s a special place that took my heart: remote, grounded and managed by great hosts/ caretakers. They offer their company and support if u want, and they‘d leave u at peace in case u prefer. The vineyard at Monderup is a perfect place to wind down.

It was beautifully peaceful and the hosts instructions were simple and clear. Can’t fault the experience, exactly what we were after - a quiet getaway among the trees and birds. The chalet had a stove with pans, oil, etc so we enjoyed cooking food that we picked up from the Mount Barker IGA. We will be back

Quiet and private location, well situated for Stirling Ranges and Porongorups. Spacious and comfortable cabin. Enjoyed watching a willy wagtail pair build a nest under the eaves.
