This is a beautiful hotel, I loved everything about it, both inside and outside. Great location, walk up to coffee shop.

I am terminally ill and was a bit worried about the steps from previous guest reviews where they mention the steps being difficult. It was only the one flight I had to climb and I had no trouble with getting up with the help of the bannister.

Great location, great facilities and amenities. Very quiet. Charming hostel with a soul, would come back here if I have a second occasion to visit the blue mountains.
We booked a simple but functional private room with our own bathroom, which turned out to be good-sized, clean and quiet. The lounge with its open fire felt welcoming. Friendly and sincere reception staff gave helpful suggestions. Kitchen was large and quite usable, although we ended up dining out. Pleasant environment as the building dates back to the 30s I think. In the main street not far from shops and restaurants, but on the way to the lookout and other tourist attractions, which are perhaps 20 minutes walk away through charming streets.
