The bathroom was extremely spacious with a separate bath and shower! it was exceptionally clean and was decorated
beautifully with nick knacks and artwork. The garden area was spacious and had some very funky artwork in it. We didn't get around to using the pool, but it looked sparkling clean. It is out of town so you need a car but I liked the quiet away from the main tourist area. The host was fabulous! We would book again. :)
Sha is an exceptional host and property owner who clearly goes out of her way to welcome and look after her guests. From the fantastic lounge facilities, complimentary afternoon teas each day, "help yourself anytime"tean and coffee facilities to the other lovely touches like chocolates and wonderful presentation of the rooms. Gecko lodge is a great place to stay, close to everything yet quiet and private.
This is an amazing Bed and Breakfast, located just outside the township in a quiet area. The rooms we spacious and had everything you could need, the bed was comfy and the double shower was amazing. Great water pressure too which is always good. The breakfast was served in a breakfast room so we got to chat to the owner and other guests over a bowl of fresh fruit, personally prepared by the owner (some grown by her). Toast and cereal was also on offer and coffee was made for each individual.
This place is heaven on earth. It was extremely quiet and peaceful. We stayed for 6 nights. Every day we had an excellent breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit, thank you Debbie! Fresh towels every 2 days pure luxury! Everything was just perfect!
the breakfast was just fresh fruit and cereal. The location is amazing and quiet ,the bed was super comfortable .The residence just 10 minute drive from Kalbarri town..
Sitting on the balcony watching Kangaroos and emus walk past every day was amazing.
Mark and Margaret are great hosts...and Margaret's Indonesian cuisine is the best, her Beef Rendang and Fish Rolls are to die for..(the best Beef Rendang outside of Bali.) Waking up to the amazing views from the bedroom windows was defiantly one of the many highlights
Great location, quiet and secluded. Private entrance and beautifully designed. We enjoyed sitting on the deck near the plunge pool. The louvre windows were a nice touch and the bed was exceptional.
