The host, Stuart, was so friendly and helpful. The location is great, probably best to have a car but otherwise can walk to the beach in 25 minutes or so. The property is Stuart and Lisa’s lovely home and they’ve cultivated a welcoming and warm atmosphere for all the guests.

Most unique place to stay - vineyard, and Mr Grubb restaurant just in front of your door. The design of the hallway was amazing too. When we arrived to the room, the staff member gave us a breakfast basket & it was very delicious.

We loved the big backyard for our border collie, was in a great location for us to be able to leave early the next morning to catch the Spirit of Tasmania.

Well equipped, comfortable and in a great location. It was easy to walk into the city centre. It was also convenient having free on-street parking close by. We stayed during cold weather, but the heat pump kept us cosy.

I really enjoyed my stay at Anchor. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the facilities were in working order (TV, dishwasher, microwave). I found that it was pretty quiet and in a great location near the Geelong city centre, so I had no issues travelling to the beach or to the shops. I didn't have any troubles during my stay and found the room to be the perfect size for me! I would stay here again 100%.
Closer to city centre, but very quiet. Very tasteful decor. Bed great, couch terrific for a TV AO binge on a January evening (after dinner, well positioned table Deb). Owner delightful. I stayed here when they first opened, and was not disappointed second time around. A bit of luxury bliss. Good blackouts to make a dark room.
