Very clean, had everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t realise the cottages were so close to each other but in saying that, it was still very private and felt secluded. No noise, traffic and conveniently walking distance to nearby bakery, cafe and botanical gardens. A very beautiful forest setting and makes you feel like you’re hours away from the city.
The hot tub was ready to go and clean also much bigger than the photos show which was great. Maybe a mop would be handy as it was difficult keeping the bathroom floor dry especially during colder weather but they did supply several towels and mats. Also maybe a heated towel rack would be good too but this is if I’m being picky. Hairdryer included and toiletries, breakfast hamper and juice etc.
The breakfast area is glass enclosed and was so beautiful and perfect for winter as the fireplace ensured it was nice and warm throughout the cottage even the bathroom if we kept the door open. The hosts were lovely and showed us to our cottage and were always contactable for anything needed although we didn’t need to contact them. The King bed is very comfortable with plenty of pillows and the sofa is also a bed which is a bonus. Overall such a beautiful place to stay and we would love to stay again!

Breakfast was amazing. Owner was super accommodating, and lovely. Area was gorgeous and the rooms were very clean with very comfy beds. Great for a getaway, very peaceful. Rooms are all very seperated so unlikely to run into anyone else

The location was beautiful, quiet and private. The room was immaculate, really comfortable, warm and had everything needed for our stay. Owner Rebecca was lovely and very accommodating.
Such a lovely private peaceful setting. Ticked the most important boxes, clean, very comfortable bed, and fabulous shower. So well appointed with everything anyone could possibly need. The Rosellas and huge Cockatoos were a real bonus.

It was quiet, private and comfortable and had everything we needed. The spa was great and the place was quick to heat up. I loved seeing the kookaburras too.
The cottage was clean and tidy, it is set back from the road which makes it feel more private and quiet. The spa adds a great touch of luxury and relaxation. The host Naomi is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed, she also provided complimentary tea, coffee, milk, juice, granola, mini muffins, biscuits, bread and port. It is also close to Emerald town centre which has the best bakery I have ever been to.
Great location, great host. We were after a really relaxing getaway, and Ferny hill was perfect. It's quiet with nice garden settings. We loved the birds who came by often. Thanks, Carmel.
Comfortable, quiet and cosy. Great location, close to amenities, but just out enough to be peaceful. Garden was gorgeous and the artsy feel and hidden trinkets were a cute touch!
