We also stayed overnight at Holmes Cafe and Pension the weekend before and we were glad we had made a second booking.
Our hosts were so welcoming, kind and helpful. We had lovely evening meals and excellent breakfasts the next morning. Our room was warm and comfortable and we had a good rest after a long journey.
Another guest there during our stay was a returning visitor and we hope to return in the future.
Facing the seafront, Gasthof-Pension Schütz offers 3-star accommodation in Wesenufer and has a private beach area, water sports facilities and pool with a view.

Everything. Room was cosy and comfortable. Family running the hotel were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was really tasty. We didn't quite get the weather we were looking for but thankfully everything else was perfect.

The kindness of the all the staff and the owners. Breakfast was served on the terrace and it was presented like a work of art, they even painted a face on the soft boiled egg :-).
The view is stunning, too.

Location wonderful whether on bikes or not. Homely atmosphere with good food & close to nature. Friendly staff & cheapest place by far on our Danube bike tour.
For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Perfect stopover on our Danube cycle ride. This charming B&B was perfect- a really homely place with fantastic hosts. Breakfast was amazing - taken on the terrace looking out towards the river. Room was comfortable with everything you might want. Lovely garden too. Thank you
Lovely location, quiet place, relaxing. Beautiful view from the guesthouse to the Danube. The owners very nice and helpful. The breakfast very tasty. Beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend this place.
Charming place in a beautiful area close to the Danube. The owner was very welcoming and kind. Best value for money. If is stay around Passau again, I know where I will go.
So welcoming and helpful. A lovely room - large and light - large balcony with flowers. Shared kitchen very useful. Quiet location. Excellent breakfast. Wish I had booked for longer.
