After hiking for 29 kilometres over the Alps, climbing some 1700 metres in one day, I was very glad of a comfortable stay at Haus Margrith. The bed and duvet were so comfortable that I slept really well all night. Breakfast was varied and enormous! The fruit to go with the yoghurt and muesli was especially welcome.

This building typifies an alpine chalet. There is a lot if character inside and good views from the bedrooms and public rooms. The breakfast buffet offered la large variety of choice and there was a lot of fresh fruit. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return for a longer visit.
Gabrielle was a lovely host, and even rang up a mountain hut for us to check if we could rent sleds. The flat was nice too, with a great location in a beautiful valley.
