What is there NOT to like about Pension Kitty? First, Barry is an absolutely wonderful host! He was incredibly cheerful, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived, he gave us a full tour and recommended restaurants to us in the area. At breakfast, he made homemade bread every day which was absolutely fantastic- I'm pretty sure I had 4 slices of it on our last day. ;) Barry also makes homemade yogurt and smoothies - which were really fun. We just felt incredibly welcomed the entire time we were there.
And if Barry's hospitality isn't enough to draw you in - the quality of the room will! We came to Europe for 6 weeks and this place EASILY had the best bed, pillows, etc. The bed was so comfortable - we didn't want to leave. I know I'm writing about the toilet paper but seriously, it was QUALITY and the towels weren't the scratchy white towels you get in every other hotel, they were actually soft and cozy. It was just the little things. My husband and I especially loved that we had access to the coffee maker in the breakfast room at any time of day - we hadn't experienced that before and it was a nice touch. We also loved the mini coffee maker and fridge in the room - really nice!
Barry, I hope you read this: sincerely, you are such an incredible host and we comment often about how wonderful our trip was to visit you and your lovely guest house! Thank you for brightening our mornings with your whistling and for your wonderful music played at breakfast - you were the only place to play non-top 40 music hits ;P

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
The location of this intimate, cozy little hotel is like none other. It was so lovely to sit at the breakfast admiring the lake and the mountains. There is a possibility for a private dock for swimming close by and the local train is fast, reliable and easy to use. We cot a plus card at check in, that allowed us to travel with the train as much as we needed. This card might only be available if you stay for a longer than 3 days. The staff could not be more nice and helpful, absolutely lovely people!
Staff was super friendly and welcoming. It felt like they really cared for their guests. They have a private sector on a beach (10 min walk) which was nice. The view from our balcony was amazing, and the surroundings very beautiful in general. Simple but delicious breakfast. Easy to reach by car or train (10 min walk to the station).
We wanted quiet place to stay on our journey to Italy with comfort beds and we were stunned. All pictures cant describe an actual feeling. Entire Villa is right on the beach with nice green grass with sunbeds touching lake Wortherzee. Room was superclean, with luxury beds and nice lake view. Breakfast was tasty with mix of various types of sweets and classic food like scrambled eggs or ham. Staff was friendly and even called us in advance for a key for our room as we were checking-in at late ours.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. You feel right at home and it’s in a great location. It’s also got its own “ Badehaus” at the lake which is really charming
Breakfast was amazing - home baked bread and cakes, fresh fruit smoothies, excellent home made preserves and fabulous coffee!
The location is good - very quiet and peaceful but not too far from the High Street with all its amenities.
Great hosts, really friendly and accommodating. A good location in a nice quiet area but less than 10 minutes walk into town. Motorcyclist friendly too, they had a gazebo to park our bikes under in case it rained. Good breakfast and a really nice homemade herbal tea.
Location, quietness, size of apartment, cleanliness, helpful owners especially with my very poor german, about 10 min walk to restaurants, and Hofe or Aldi maybe 300m away. Typical Austrian Pension, so nice to stay in. Plenty of parking. Our booking was self catering, has table, 2 chairs, kitchenette, fridge, 2 plate stove top, lovely balcony we ate outside always on. Very private from other guests and quiet
