The negative!!
Where do I start?
First: The place was incredibly dirty.
We arrived late and there was nowhere to go, in other case we would have left immediately.
As soon as we opened the entrance, the floor and stair were very dirty, fool of crumbs.
Then we entered the room, the floor looked like it has not been cleaned for months, full of crumbs and dirt everywhere.
The bed sheets had at least 10 human hair on them.
The bathroom sink had small particles on it (supposedly someone’s food after brushing teeth).
Towels had some inexplicable dirt on them.
When we called the host, well the lady perhaps is not bad, but seemed lost, when we showed her the dirt she just kept saying “whet happened, I do not know what happened, it is clean, look it is clean”, even though she herself saw thet it is not, or maybe it is normal for her.
Second, the room had a very strong smell, I suppose dog smell, because this hotel is very dog friendly as some reviews state. No ventilation in the room.
Third, as there is no ventilation and air conditioner you have to keep windows open and there are no mosquito nets, which means that we were eaten by them at night.
And last, the bathroom is not a private bathroom as it is stated in the booking, but private external bathroom, which means that to enter it you go through corridor, where you can meet other people.
Gasthof Panorama in Obsteig has a sauna, steam bath, hot tub and infra-red cabin that can be used free of charge. All rooms have a balcony with mountain views.

First time in Austria- I thought this would be more like a hotel. But Gasthof means "inn"- therefore once you understand this you understand this is a place to stop but that does not have the facilities of a modern hotel.

Nice place to stay for one night. Very kind host, who was Very helpful. Very Nice and clean, and after a Long drive, it was possible to get some food.

For travellers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms may be shared by other guests, and there is often shared space with the host.
Panoramic views, birds singing, quiet nights. Perfect for long and relaxing weekend. We were traveling by car, and it was an ideal starting poont for the destinations we had on our list (plus a very nice extra one, recomended by the host)
Easiest 10/10 I have ever had. Big rooms. Everything was clean and fresh. Rooms had small kitchen fully stocked and ready to use. The views from the rooms are amazing and the area itself is really quiet.
I'm not sure how is it possible to get there without a car. Other than that - easy 10...
The property is located in a very quiet area, exactly as we wanted. The host is a discreet, welcoming and helpful person. The apartment is clean and equipped with everything you need. Covered parking is an advantage. All in all, I had a pleasant and relaxing stay in a nice place, with nice people. Thank you! We will come back with pleasure.
Alpenperle is an almost "brand new" guest house slightly off the major traffics/routes. We were met by a very friendly host who told us all we needed and guided us to nearby place for a fantastic local dinner. There is also a grocery store nearby.
Room was of a decent size and we had enough space for three of us. There is a fridge, coffee machine, kettle. Location is quiet, easily accessed by car.
The house seems to be renovated recently and you can feel how much the owners invest to make your stay very pleasant. The house is very clean, everything was prepared in advance, even our self checkin. The view is also amazing and the area is very quiet to relax. We only stayed one night but would definitely come back. We forgot to book the breakfast in advance but were positively surprised that still a table was already prepared for us with our name in case we still wanted to have it. This made us feel very welcome and appreciated
Really liked the place and view, we felt very welcomed by the host. Would like to visit the place once more. Also had nice quiet evening in the swings on the trail next to the location.
Everything was perfect, room was nice and clean with big terrace with an amazing views of the mountains, you can hear just birds outside, otherwise it’s super quiet. Lots of possibilities to do around - hiking, cycling, via ferratas. Lot of animals around - horses, donkeys, alpacas, sheeps, cows… the owners are the nicest and helpful if you need anything. Thank you so much, we had the best a blast and we will definitely be back!
