The room and the breakfast were great and the staff was the nicest I encountered in Austria. We only stayed for one night and in the morning we went hiking in the stubai alps. The hike starts just above the hotel and They let us leave some of our stuff with them so we could take less with us. We came back 5 days later to pickup the bags and stayed for another dip in the lake and for lunch.

This Bed and Breakfast is set on a working dairy farm, operated by the Mair family, Michael and Kathrin, and grandmother Rita; its an absolutely gorgeous farm, all new 2022 building and accommodations!! The owners are wonderful people who will make you feel like one of the family! The cows are milked in the barn below and guests are welcome to watch and even try their hand at hand milking; after, you can have a drink of the fresh milk!! An absolutely gorgeous place. The Hosts - Vanessa and Rob are extremely helpful and welcoming. Rob has helped me when I had a logistical problem and thus saved a lot of time and money. The view from the balcony is charming at every time of the day. Sunsets and sunrises are particularly spectacular. The place offers a peaceful view of the valley with the glacier in the back. Breakfasts are good. The whole place is very quiet and peaceful. It was the best place we stayed at during our trip around Tirol. And I would definitely love to come again.

Travel to and from the main town can be done via taxi coupons that are provided on arrival. The main glacier can be accessed via a free bus from the town centre - it takes approximately 30 minutes to get there.
