The breakfast was the best part! The hostess was attentive and kind and made eggs for us in addition to the rest of the breakfast. The room was sparse but sufficient. Instructions for entry were very clear.

We loved Pension Marillenhof! Our host was so nice and friendly and stayed in touch with us and gave us instructions for all the things we needed and answered our emails when we had questions. The pension is charming and nicely decorated in Austrian style, which we loved. Our room was large, comfortable, and quiet, and of course, the typical Austrian super clean and well-arranged. There were other rooms next to ours and the breakfast area was adjacent to our room, but we heard absolutely nothing. The pension is located in a quiet residential neighborhood within a short walking distance of downtown Melk and the abbey. On our walks to downtown Melk, we loved walking through the beautiful cemetery that's on the hill on the way. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of homemade goodies and healthy choices of breads, cheeses, and meats, and of course, homemade apricot (marillen) jam! This was a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Melk.

Lovely family, lovely hotel. Excellent food and the location couldn't have been any closer to the Danube cycle path. Breakfast was incredible, bikes had secure storage. Perfect place to stop and great accommodations for our group of 8 cyclists.

Lovely place, everything in and about it feels old, but it’s charming. Excelent place, we’ve slept like babies there. It had that feeling of grandma’s place which makes you feel at home and safe.
The cosy atmosphere, local food. The owners are extremely helpful and nice. The farm is located in the centre od Wachau, despite that fact it is extremely calm place disturbed only during the working hours running the firm works. Quiet nights, excellent food produced directly at this place.
The roomkeys were available from a keylocker at the entrance. The room was clean and quiet. Perfect place for cyclist tourists. The breakfast was also super. They have a bicycle garage also!
