What is there NOT to like about Pension Kitty? First, Barry is an absolutely wonderful host! He was incredibly cheerful, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived, he gave us a full tour and recommended restaurants to us in the area. At breakfast, he made homemade bread every day which was absolutely fantastic- I'm pretty sure I had 4 slices of it on our last day. ;) Barry also makes homemade yogurt and smoothies - which were really fun. We just felt incredibly welcomed the entire time we were there.
And if Barry's hospitality isn't enough to draw you in - the quality of the room will! We came to Europe for 6 weeks and this place EASILY had the best bed, pillows, etc. The bed was so comfortable - we didn't want to leave. I know I'm writing about the toilet paper but seriously, it was QUALITY and the towels weren't the scratchy white towels you get in every other hotel, they were actually soft and cozy. It was just the little things. My husband and I especially loved that we had access to the coffee maker in the breakfast room at any time of day - we hadn't experienced that before and it was a nice touch. We also loved the mini coffee maker and fridge in the room - really nice!

Nice spacious property in a quiet area near the lake. Ours was a large room with balcony and modern bathroom. Loads of wardrobe & shelves for our things plus a table & two chairs.
Very nice lady ran the property, was attentive, helpful & friendly.
Free tea & coffee which is a very nice touch.

We arrived by motorcycle and there is safe parking under cover in the driveway.

Lovely house in amazing location. Great views over the Woerthersee from private terrasse. Kind hosts who helped where they could. Spotlessly clean and all provided which was needed.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. A private beach on the lake side which was very nice in the extreme heat on the day I stayed there. A room was cool, with a balcony which was good for the heat, as well.
Second time we go there, same as last year, for the IRONMAN race in Klagenfurt. We had a lovely time again, as the appartement is very well located and equipped. We especially like how quiet it is during the night.

Very quiet and cute location. A wonderful Austrian retreat. There is also a wonderful self checkout store nearby full of products from local farmers.
Everything was great. The apartment has everything you need. The heating works all the time, great for staying in winter. Everything is clean and tidy. There is a small lake nearby with a swan that came to us every day when we sat by the lake. Quiet and peaceful place, ideal for vacation.
