I loved everything about Hosteria El Puma! Off the bat I would recommend it to all and I will be staying here when I return to El Chalten. The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, and friendly. The room was beautiful, clean, and cozy. Breakfast was delicious and we were right near town, far enough that it was quiet, but close enough to restaurants, shops, and trailheads. I took a relaxing bath with the soaps and salts provided after a hike that was just delightful. The staff provide you with any and all information about El Chalten and were helpful with all of my questions. Thank you to Hosteria El Puma for being a highlight of our trip!

The staff were super friendly. The owner was charming and so kind. He was so helpful with all the tips and suggestions to make our stay and treks in El chalten exceptional. The packed lunch and dinner in the restaurant was amazing, The best I have had in el chalten. The estancia is such a charming place to stay, family run business. The rooms were clean, great size. The views from the estancia of the surrounding vast field is magical. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

Great place in a dream spot. Amazing views, great trail to reach the Puesto Cagliero. Two to three hour walk in a beautifull forrest walking close to a turquoise river. Trai wasn't difficult. Simply amazing. Went through a different trail when coming down to discover two amazing lagoons, specially the Blue Lagoon. A must see.

Central location from everything in the town and trailheads. Owner is so helpful and provided with invaluable weather information for the duration of the stay on check in. Room was nice and spacious with clean sheets and large bathroom. Nice to have hearing to maintain temperature. Also a mini tea-station to start the day before a big day in nature. Perfect!

The front desk staff was outstandingly helpful. They gave us a valuable advice for a short first-day hike (in the rain and fog), helped us with our next reservation, and in general were extremely nice and friendly. We came back after a challenging hike in the mountain to our spacious, warm and comfortable room, it was great.

We had a room in the main building. The room was very compact with minimal decorations and furniture, not like on mist photos you see on the booking site. There is no view: our window faced small open outdoor area and another building across. Some people were hanging out in that area between building so there was no way past midnight so there was no way to sleep.
For the price of over $150 per night USD, this was really very basic accommodations with zero charm.
The only good part was staff members, who were friendly and tried to be accommodating.

The landlady is the nicest person. The apartment is at a great location, is all you need, has toiletries, easy to park your car, close to the city center and the station too.
Fantastic location and a very nice space to stay in. Plenty of room, great views of the Fitzroy Range, hot shower, decent WiFi. There are only three rooms in the hotel, so it's quiet and the common area feels like it's almost an additional private space.

Great hostel with lovely staff that helped us with everything, including planning our hikes. Comfortable room/beds and excellent breakfast with toast, eggs, pastries, yoghurt etc. They also kept our luggage after checking out while we were trekking, and allowed us to shower after the hike. Everything was 5-star hotel level. Ample, comfortable and clean rooms and private bathroom. Staff always available and very professional. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. Nothing is cheap in El Chalten and this hotel is not an exception, but it is worth it.
Kuntur Apart is close to the Trailhead Laguna Torre and it is also not very far to the city center. The accommodation is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The shower is very good: big enough, sufficient and constant water pressure and the water drains well. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for eating and cooking, it even has 2 sinks. However, there is no oven. The room has a good size for 2 people.
