This guesthouse is a great place to stay. Adina, the owner, said “My house is your house,” and she meant it. Staying here is like spending time in the home of a friend. She was so kind, and her place very clean and organized. The two rooms are up a set of stairs, but the beds are comfortable and there’s more storage space than anyone could ever need. The house has a shared kitchen, so we could make our own breakfasts, and a produce stand is just around the corner and a grocery store about a five-minute walk away. If you don’t want to cook, the central part of Tirana is only about a 10- or 15-minute walk away and has lots of restaurants to choose from.
Sadina’s English is a bit limited, but Glen, her son, speaks fluently and responds by WhatsApp within minutes. He also gave us recommendations for things to see and places to eat, which we might not have known about otherwise. And he answered questions we had about travel in Albania.

Central location close to everything. Once you’re in the apartment, it’s very nice. The building entrance, elevators and stairwells feel like something from another era of time. Very old, but the apartment is modern and refreshing. Artur the manager was very accommodating and met us. He printed airplane tickets for us upon request. Highly recommend for those desiring a central stay in Toronto close to all the good restaurants and Civic sites.

This room was probably one of the most beautiful, cool, and comfortable rooms I've ever stayed in. Esmerelda welcomed me with open arms and made me immediately feel at home; she was the perfect hostess and I wish I could take her with me everywhere I go. If there were more people like her, the world would definitely be a better place; she was a ray of sunshine (and energy) that wanted to make sure that my visit to her country was the best that it could be. She went out of her way to accommodate me and make me feel like family. I was traveling alone and a bit weary, but to get to the room you have to go through a first locked door before you even got to the room door, so that made me feel very easy and safe. The location was amazing; everything was within an easy 15-minute walking distance. There were plenty of stores, restaurants, and bars to visit. The room was very quiet and exactly how the pictures showed. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious.
