Offering barbecue facilities and pool view, The Beach House at Oak Island by Carolina Resorts is set in Oak Island, 90 metres from Long Beach and 2.3 km from Caswell Beach. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was like a religious experience. It was like taking a bath standing up. Best shower experience ever.. The room was decorated nicely with a beach theme. The location was great, had only one row of houses between you and the beach. Also was within a very close walking distance to 2 restraunts. Also liked, that they provided sand chairs to use.

A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Lake Lure, Grafton Lodge offers outdoor fireplace, private parking and sports facilities. We loved the location, the hummingbirds on arrival, Rich's cookies, our room. But best of all was the lovely welcoming chats over the most delicious breakfasts! Kim helped us with ideas of what to do each day while Rich cooked up a wonderful breakfast all with local ingredients. A perfect place to explore lake lure and the mountains from.

Loved that the kitchen had everything we could possibly need: ice maker in the freezer, cookie sheets, wine opener. It was all so organized. The beach was conveniently a quick walk through the pool areas. Lots of amenities including a restaurant, pools, hot tubs. We walked a little in a circle the first day trying to figure things out but our little walk was still enjoyable. Needed a table for 8 one night, I got to walk down to the restaurant, add my name to the waitlist, and wait for the table to be ready in the comforts of “home”.

Love the house! Wonderul location. We had grandparents , babies, kids and adults and the house was perfect for our big family for the week. There was plenty of room for everyone to set comfortably and not be overcrowded.

Location is great and convenient to restaurants and beach. Home is gorgeous and everyone enjoyed playing in the game room. The amenities provided were over the top. I especially liked that the kitchen was well equipped with whatever you may need to prepare meals and still had ample storage area for guests to store their groceries and snacks. Host was responsive to our questions and the personal note and chocolates were welcoming.

Very comfortable furniture and games for my family. The kitchen had everything that one would need. It was also very close to the beach. We also loved the outdoor deck area!
