Wow, what an experience. Of all my travels, this may just be the one where I was received the friendliest. The owner of the appartement picked us up from the bus station and drove us to the appartement. We got an explanation of everything. Because it was a national holiday, all shops and grocery stores were closed - something we didn't know about when we came. We got some nice food and treats from the owner which was amazing and allowed us to cook a nice meal at the end of the day. The view of the lake and the mountains is stunning.
