We had a really cute studio apartment (that was surprisingly spacious) for the week. The location was great, the owner was lovely, and the apartment was really comfy.

The location couldn’t be better. It’s just in the city center, a few minutes walk fron the ferry, the restaurants and the supermarket. Our host, Débora was super kind. She really wanted to know, if she can help us in anything. Also, we were invited to a welcome drink at the restaurant in ground floor, and we also got a coupon for free desserts there. Unlimited local tea (and coffee) was also available inside the building. The apartment was super clean, and well equipped. It’s price is also great compared to the prices on the island. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked.

If I could, I would give this place 20 out of 10. The suite is spacious, beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was amazing and eating at one table with other guests just makes it even better. Vera, who took care of us just put this stay to another level. She made us feel like at home and beyond that other hotels should learn from her. If me and my husband will visit Pico again there is no question that we would choose to be at Miradouro da Papalva guest house. Big thanks and best wishes ♥️♥️♥️

Calma do Mar in Madalena provides accommodations with a garden, a tennis court, and barbecue facilities. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. Very clean rooms and common areas. Every room has its own shelf in the common fridge so you can store your groceries. Absolutely lovely and helpful owners who recommended some restaurants and beaches in the area. Very tasty breakfast. Overall a great place and will definitely stay again if we come back to pico
