The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). It was incredible! The house is amazing, stylish, super clean, cozy and comfortable. The best stay we had in Portugal. The owner was super responsive and kind (let us stay few hours longer without additional charge). Highly recommended!

The place, gorgeous quinta on the Douro River with lots of character (check out the chapel too). The gardens, the pool, the tennis court. The staff, very helpful and courteous in a natural, smiling way. The evening meals on the terrace, followed by pool tournaments in the play room. Great for family entertainment and relax after sightseeing.
