The kitchen was fully stocked with excellent appliances and cookware as well as beautiful china and was a joy to relax with breakfast. It gave out onto a small balcony with a view of the lake. A very short ad beautiful walk to get to either the main lakeside and center of town.

Wonderful - we had a 2 bedroom cabin with kitchen and an amazing deck on the lake. Very clean, very comfortable. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket across the street to pick up supplies.

The location was in the center of Stresa, the supermarket was jusrvin front of the residence. The manager Patrizia was caring and helpfull to injoy our stay. And we kept in touch with her after we left and became freinds. The bed was comfortable, the suite was so clean and organised verry well.

Boasting a terrace and views of mountain, Casa Castagna 1620 is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Mergozzo, 49 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. Beautiful room and facilities and friendly, helpful staff. Location and views from the room were perfect, with a small balcony overlooking the main square. Around 10 minutes walk from the main swimming area on mergozzo. We managed to use free parking in town about 10 minutes walk from the property. We had the included breakfast which was a pastry, coffee and juice - very nice and perfect quick breakfast. A large hot breakfast of eggs, meats, etc is available for €20pp.
