Set in Barmouth, The Royal is a historic bed and breakfast that offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a terrace. Everything was perfect. It was the weekend of our anniversary where we got engaged the day before so we came for our anniversary to celebrate double occasion. A gift from the hotel ... A bottle of Presecco was waiting for us at the door of the room when we went to the car to get our luggage right after check-in. There was even a small fridge in the wardrobe in the room, which was a surprise because I forgot that the room was equipped with it. Great quality of furniture, details in the corridor. Beautiful pictures. Perfect stay. We wish we could stay longer and we had to go back to work, the next stay will be there again and definitely for longer. The room was at the back of the building which was just what we wanted for us. Sea view in the morning .. Peace and quiet and the proximity of the CO-OP store for those interested is a great plus when the wine or ice cream runs out. And breakfast served in the room is not a problem for the staff. It was delicious, thank you very much. Best regards

Saul was the perfect host, got a hot cuppa on arrival which was most welcome, made me feel at home and gave loads of helpful information on the area. Great value for money.

Located in Barmouth, 300 metres from Barmouth Beach and 31 km from Portmeirion, Penbryn Holidays No 2 provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. I absolutely fell in love with the place as soon as I saw it. It's a beautiful building with old charm on the outside and is clean and modern inside. There is a lovely lounge area with a great TV, reclining chair (which I took full advantage of) and the use of an Alexa device which was a nice touch. The kitchen is fully equipped and they even provided a small milk which was very kind. The bedroom was comfy and I adored the bath in the bathroom. The cherry on top was an outdoor area especially for me. It was amazing and I really enjoyed having somewhere external to enjoy the wonderful view with a cup of tea 😊😊 I loved my visit, and it is definitely more than value for money. Thank you for providing a great stay.
