We arrived at the b&b on a rainy and cold day and we were warmly welcomed by the staff at the reception - we deeply appreciated the welcome drink and the homemade shortbread cookies. The room was clean, with everything you need and with a wonderful view on the loch. The breakfast was nice, especially the English breakfast options provided as well as the continental breakfast options. The staff working at the b&b is friendly and very kind, they give good suggestions on restaurants and on things to do

I loved the feel of the house: warm, comfortable, cosy. A welcoming host and a wonderful full Scottish breakfast with all the trimmings you like. This Victorian Lodge is within walking distance of Nairn's sunny beaches. It is also only a short walk to Nairn's station (500 metres away), with regular services to Inverness/ Aberdeen. I would recommend Glen Lyon to everyone with a taste for the Highlands.

The pods is well equipped with everything you need in a house. The pods clearly is well designed by the owner with lots of thoughtful ideas. The view from the door itself is magnificent with a nice clear lake view. We even managed to capture and see the milky way at the sky at night due to ultra low light pollution area. As a city boy, this is impossible to be seen anywhere in my city.

Immaculately presented with exceptional decor. Instructions were clearly guven by host. We felt bad we had to call early AM because we had trouble locking up- our fault.

Supper and higher recommended for this place. All the facilities are perfect. Love the heater is at the floor and keep us warm all the time .
