Situado em Castel, em um edifício histórico, a 1,2 km da Praia de Cobo, o The Lodge - Studio Apartment's é um apartamento com piscina sazonal ao ar livre e jardim. We loved the apartment, perfectly equipped for our stay and definitely ideal for an even longer visit. Wonderful quiet location in the Cobo/Castel area, a short and pleasant walk or drive from the beach, close enough for comfort and just far enough away from the popular and sometimes loud bay itself. Will definitely be staying again.

My husband, my elderly mother and I had a fantastic week at Ilex Lodge. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The beds and bedding were so comfortable, and everything we needed was there for us. There were even lovely touches such as a loaf of local raisin bread and a bunch of fresh local flowers that made me smile. The lodge is in lovely gardens and I really appreciated the trees, birdsong and flowers just outside the windows. It is an easy, pleasant walk into the heart of St Peter Port and the harbour, so Ilex Lodge is in a fantastic location, close to town, but quiet and peaceful. The three of us arrived exhausted and desperately in need of a holiday, and left rejuvenated and recovered. It was exactly the holiday we needed. Thank you so much.

Boasting an enviable location by the sea and 2 minutes’ drive from Saint Julian’s Pier, locally known as North Beach, St Georges is a family-run guest house with free Wi-Fi. Excellent spot for me to get some R&R after an extremely choppy sea voyage from Jersey (people were vomiting all over the place). An intriguing old property with steep, narrow staircases and long, winding hallways. Once I stepped inside, I felt like I was being transported by a time machine to the early 19th century; the time of Romantic poetry and Napoleonic wars. My key was waiting for me at the reception desk. The manager was nice enough to arrange for me to get some breakfast on the go very early in the morning since I had to catch my flight. Cheers! PS The difference between the ebb and flood (several metres) is simply mind-blowing!
