Situated in Ayr and only 600 metres from Ayr Beach, Anchors Rest features accommodation with river views, free WiFi and free private parking. Communication, including directions, car parking arrangements, local information was great. The property was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. In a great location, there is an abundance of bars, restaurants and cafes within an easy walk and you are also a short walk from Ayr’s seafront.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. We used it as a base to travel to the various islands although I was equally happy walking on the beach or just sitting at the table looking out at the wonderful sunsets. Pub down the road was very welcoming with great food and plenty to do locally. Thanks for a great stay.

HIGHLY recommend this place! They even provide breakfast ✅
