This family-run guest house is quietly situated in Stadt Wehlen in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, directly below the world-famous Bastei rock formation. Firstly, we were happy to be staying in a family-run hotel and to be able to support a family business. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, giving us tips for what to do and where to go and even for restaurants in the area as we were there during Christmas and the selection was very limited. We were also kept up to date about the weather and various other conditions in the general area. The breakfast was amazing, including the selection of the family's homemade jams. There were so many that we couldn't try them all! Fresh bread, loads of cold cuts and eggs, a huge variety of cereals, and fresh fruit.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Bed and Breakfast am Schillerplatz offers accommodation in Dresden, 5 km from Frauenkirche Dresden. Super nice and welcoming. Also got some recommendations for the immediate vicinity. Well thought-out room, with unique touches. Wish we had planned a longer stay!

There was a nice children's playground right across the street.

These apartments are located directly beside Lake Geierswalde, a 15-minute drive from Senftenberg. Open-Water-Resort offers apartments with a well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful place with view to lake, few meters from beach and rollskate road around lakes. Shared room bor bikes and very nice stuff helps you with everything.
