Clean, comfortable and warm, even though it was less than 5 degrees Celsius outside (mix of wooden stove and electric heater). The view was breathtaking and the only sounds are the nearby river, the birds and the bells from sheep. The hosts were simply amazing and Ploy's Thai food is a must-get. Extra surprise: their playful dog, Luna :) Thank you so much Franz and Ploy for your hospitality! We will definitely come back again!

Ob Vierwaldstättersee er staðsett í Emmetten og státar af einkasundlaug og garðútsýni. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 12 yr old and 10 yr old) had a wonderful time here in Emmetten. The balcony is huge, the underground parking was very handy, the shower pressure is great and the views around the area are spectacular. Thanks for having us Rene!

We were not expecting it to be atop the mountain as much as it was and this was a great surprise! Had a wonderful vacation and certainly want to go back! The owner was super friendly and helpful!

Residence Kastanienbaum is a spacious one bedroom flat in a quiet neighbourhood ten minutes by car/bus from Lucerne. Both the bedroom and living room have a wonderful lake view (although we had pretty foggy weather all week). The kitchen is really well equipped and the welcome goodies are really tasty and much appreciated. There are two bathrooms: one with a bathtub, sink and washing machine/drier; the other with toilet, sink and shower. The extra bed in the living room was super comfortable as well. We stayed for a week in January and felt right at home. The Lucerne visitors card was very handy to take public transport to the shops and to visit Lucerne.

Only 50 metres from Lake Lucerne and 300 metres from the Museum of Transport in Luzern, the charming Villa Maria offers accommodation with wooden floors and free Wi-Fi. The location at the end of the Luzern promenade on the lake was amazing! Room 9 had a great patio with a gorgeous view of the lake. One of the only small hotels we stayed in that had AC (portable unit). Given it was 30 degrees, that was much appreciated!
