Both the bedroom and living room have a wonderful lake view (although we had pretty foggy weather all week). The kitchen is really well equipped and the welcome goodies are really tasty and much appreciated. There are two bathrooms: one with a bathtub, sink and washing machine/drier; the other with toilet, sink and shower. The extra bed in the living room was super comfortable as well. We stayed for a week in January and felt right at home. The Lucerne visitors card was very handy to take public transport to the shops and to visit Lucerne.

Only 50 metres from Lake Lucerne and 300 metres from the Museum of Transport in Luzern, the charming Villa Maria offers accommodation with wooden floors and free Wi-Fi. The location at the end of the Luzern promenade on the lake was amazing! Room 9 had a great patio with a gorgeous view of the lake. One of the only small hotels we stayed in that had AC (portable unit). Given it was 30 degrees, that was much appreciated!
