This neat and very well looked after jungle lodge is not only beautiful and authentic but also safe in the sense of bad surprises by snakes or spiders due to intelligent planting. Everything is done for the comfort and authentic jungle experience of the guests - only 5 chalets although they have space for very much more. I will never forget bathing in the beautiful stream which becomes a river in winter. The food was amazing and the tours very personal and intimate. However the best thing about this lodge is the owner, Alexandre, whose has a big heart for the animals and nature surrounding him. He agreed not only to feed the starving neighbors dog, but came up with the idea of taking that poor dying animal to his beautiful lodge, to feed it and even provide medical care. This is what we did on my last day - we went to the neighbor and brought the thinnest dog which wouldn't even move to his lodge, we washed it, fed it and provided first help for its damaged skin and open wounds. Alexandre is a very special person with a big big heart - God bless him and give him strength and power to help and care for those who so badly need it. My stay was an unforgettable, unique and beautiful experience - I will definitely be back to check on the rescued dog, who we renamed Mariposa, meaning a big brown butterfly in indigenous language and spend more time in this beautiful place.

Flat Tropical ofrece jardín y vistas a la ciudad. Está en Manaus, a pocos pasos de Praia da Ponta Negra y a 2 km de Praia da Lua. Amazing river view. Easy check in and very helpful staff in the reception and restaurant. Room is spacious, clean and well maintained. Bed is big and comfortable.

Tropical Executive 1006 está en Manaus y ofrece vistas a la piscina, jardín y bar. Hay parking privado en el propio alojamiento. Location and pool are the best parts of this hotel. Next to the popular beach (however you can't just walk down to the beach from hotel, you have to go around use the road, trough security checkpoint). The pool is nice and view of the river at dawn is awesome. Sounds insulation seems very good, which is critical considering how many drunk people we saw in the lobby and elevators. Food in the restaurant was ok, but service was nice. When we came in, hostess was trying to tell us something but he did not speak English or Spanish so he gave up and got us a table. Few minutes later after we read menu we realized they are actually closed for the break before dinner (and forgot to flip sign on the door), but they took our order anyway.

Very helpful and caring staff of the hotel. the owner also lives there and keeps checking about your comfort. The resort is a favourite location for locals from Manaus and Manacapuru for weekend stay and family fun time. It has a pool which is in fact a slow moving river going through the resort which is really wonderful. In the backdrop they have rain forest where they provide a 50 mins free (nominal charge of 10 reais) nature trail with a guide which in itself is good experience. The highlight of the stay were the night sounds of jungle insects coming from the forest. The resort has very nice free wifi and a good breakfast.
