Very central, a lot of food nearby..catalina and tomas were very accommodating and friendly,ready to help anytime. Breakfast served in the room. A little touch of welcoming with chocolate. Kettle, microwave, toaster and coffee maker available and so is an iron and ironing board. Very comfy bed.Highly recommend this place. Surely,we will come back when in Lisbon the next time.

Staff could not do enough, went above and beyond to meet our needs (including free upgrade of room to give me more light and a balcony - the location was perfect for us old world street full of little shops, restaurants and vars. The place is spotless and the breakfast was perfect for us plentiful varied with hot and cold. Honest think in last 19 years of travel with booking.com this is one of my fav hotels

Alecrim ao Chiado (Once upon a House) is just fabulous. We stayed for our 20th Wedding anniversary and they couldn't have done more. The hotel is boutique, but the service was perfect, from the reception, breakfast service and room service, we really can't fault a thing.
The location was great, off the main squares so a little quieter, but perfect to find all the attractions whether you want to walk, tram or taxi. (Really close to Pink Street and the Tigris River)

It was a fantastic stay,beautiful and spotless. I asked for a room with very little stairs, so I was delighted when I only had 7 steps to navigate. The ladies and gentlemen were extremely attentive and friendly and helpful, and I couldn't thank them enough.
I would recommend the Casa do Jasmin to anyone, fabulous food for breakfast, and environmentally friendly! Loved it!

Even if it is for one night, this palace makes you feel like you are a royal. Very classic rooms, an aaaamaaazzing breakfast (!) and friendly staff to help you with anything. Included in the room rate is the use of the Roman bath and the sauna in the basement (just book a 40-minute resp. 15-minute slot time upon arrival). The small garden is cute and lovely to take it easy in during a warmer day. The metro station is just a 7-minute walk away, and historic trams are even closer by. The hotel is in the heart of a nightlife district, but the evenings are quiet here. Three times a week, one can opt for a fado night with dinner (against a fee). The hotel makes time stand still, as palace life lives on.
