A truly special place, run by special people. Beautiful grounds and spectacular room. Clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Huge selection of fresh food. Location is perfect. 10 minutes drive to Monopoli but feels peaceful, quiet and private. Rafi and her family made us feel extremely welcome. Our room entry was on street level, so we did not have to climb the very narrow steep stairs to/from reception too often. Note that the room design is a bit of a hobbit cave. An average height male has to duck to enter (I did), but once inside the ceiling height was high, despite the curved ceiling design. Everything was clean and comfortable. Very good location to beach and sites. About 15 mins walk to/from train station with luggage. Small but functional kitchenette for self-catering. Host allowed us to leave luggage at reception before check-in and after check-out.

Owners were very welcoming and helpful. They helped with a parking place directly outside the apartment. The apartment was small but vey clean and nicely renovated and an easy short walk to the town. Altogether recommended.

All our expectations were exceeded with Santa Maria 24! What’s not to like?!! The staff were amazing, efficient, super helpful and welcoming providing great communication regarding our arrival, parking and the nice surprise was they provided a free shuttle in their funky car from the parking area right to the hotel front in the old town. We all had fun zipping through the old town streets. The staff also helped to change our room bookings to the one building so our family were together and we got a sea view at no extra cost. Really great of them. The rooms all have good kitchenettes with everything you need including some condiments. Rooms are spacious, clean, bright and nicely decorated. They have a great breakfast buffet and a fantastic restaurant for the evening. We had some lovely wines and very delicious and well presented food, good music and excellent service, and then could wander back up to our room. Wish we had eaten here more! Location was excellent right in the midst of the old town so easy to walk everywhere. It’s one of the very few properties I actually can’t find anything to improve on!!! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here next time I visit Monopoli. Huge thanks to Florinda, Claudio, & the fabulous team there.
