Great spot on the Hadrian cycleway. Simple to find compared to some apartments. Steep stairs but we were warned. A few nice pubs nearby and place to lock up our bikes.

The property was an accurate reflection of the photos on the website and was exceptionally spacious.
We were there for the Christmas week and the owners provided a small tree and decorations which was really nice.
With the central heating and log burner the property was super cosy .

The cottage has been exceptionally thoughtfully furnished. Everything you might need has been considered, and it was an absolute delight to discover all the things that had been done. Washing tablets, fuel for the wood burner, lighters, plentiful glasses (including nice wine glasses) washing up liquid, tea towels, tin-foil, a cafetière for coffee etc

EVERYTHING - the cottage is beautiful, practical, clean and homely. The views from the top floor are stunning. The kitchen is brilliant and has everything you need for a stay. The sitting room is so comfortable and relaxing and the beds were lovely and comfy.
