Was met promptly and shown to the apartment. The rooms were very large, and well appointed. The full kitchen had everything (and more) that could be expected. It was a pleasure to stay and have a nice "home" to relax in for the weekend. Would highly recommend.

We loved the location to the lake, very close to lake-side restaurants, and it was an easy walk to the train station. The room had lots of windows for cool air, a cozy nook with table and chairs, and the beds were nice. All of the staff were so kind and breakfast was amazing!

If you are looking for a unique experience in a stately residence that takes you back to the graceful ages, here is the ideal place where you will be invited to stay as a resident of the Schloss. Everything is available from Farm fresh milk to eggs and muesli and everything you would need to be comfortable. But you do it yourself as a resident of the Schloss and thats what I liked very much. The owners live at the Schloss too, they make sure you are comfortable, and are generous enough to make the whole place and the gardens open to discover. The basement has a piano and guitar and my sons enjoyed playing both. The surroundings are great for long walks and nearby Starnberger Lake is a gem. Thank you for a great stay. Hope we can visit again.
