Location was the reason we booked and thankfully we were able to see the king parrots close at hand which is what we remembered from a trip many years before. Basic accommodation but beds were comfy and shower good. Saw kangaroos too 😃

It did not get off to a good start. On entering the property, the lights were on, the air conditioning was blasting out and there was no information about how to switch it off. There was also a large black bin full of builders/decorators rubbish in the sitting room. In general there was a shortage of information, ie the wood fire (how did that work?) the heater in the bedroom didn’t work, it took us some time to find the control for the air conditioning unit, etc etc.
Having said what was wrong, we did find the house was generally well equipped as regards utensils, and the place was clean. Nice location.
