Quirky yet comfy: Super bathroom with lots of hot water. Comfortable bed in well-furnished room overlooking garden, pond, ocean and distant mountains. A welcome gift of Lindt chocolates was a nice touch.
A couple of artistic sketches of nude women hanging on one wall, and an eye-brow-raising piece of superimposed photographic images, including nude males hanging on another, adds to the quirkiness of the place. More quirkiness: a couple of female, headless manikins in the garden displaying colourful summer attire—the talents of Catherine, the hostess.and fashion designer.

Location was fantastic for middleton beach & an easy drive into town. Recent renos to unit were nice. Facilities were as listed & therefore met expectations.

The location and view were amazing and the hosts were communicative. It is outside of town but that is what I prefer. It was a great way to unwind after long days of hiking.
