Size of the rental and having a small kitchen to utilize for making breakfast for the family before we took off on adventuring around the island.
Friends and I stayed in a nicely updated 3 bedroom apartment 1 night while in town for a trail run at Moran State Park. Staying in Eastsound was ideal as we could walk to dinner, shops, and it was a short 10 minutes drive to the start of the race. I would happily stay there again with my family for a longer trip. Beds were very comfortable and the property is located across the street from the beach. We did not use the kitchen but that would be perfect for family meals.

Beautiful view, very friendly staff who upgraded our room for free. Kitchen was well-equipped and organized. Two separate TV's for those of us that like to watch different things. It rained the entire visit but we still had a great time thanks to this apartment.
Facing the sunset, fire pit outside the cabin with a stack of wood and kindling provided, separate heaters in bathroom and bedroom, full range of kitchen appliances (gas range, microwave, kettle, ground coffee machine, refrigerator), pots/pans, drinkware, flatware. Saw many families renting the beachside cabins.
