Štanjel overall is an amazing place with so many things to visit and see. Surely will come back in a future :)

I used WhatsApp to communicate with the host and they were welcoming and kind. The free parking and ability to view the beautiful city from the terrace and then walk up in 10min was perfect!

All studios have access to a shared balcony. The studio is really nicely made: well furnished, with quality finishes and materials, and beautifully decorated. It's got plenty of things to cook with. The balcony faces the sunrise (for the morning coffee) and the room has daylight from two sides, underfloor heating... It's just perfect. So much so that I decided to stay a bit longer. I wish there was a Zenja everywhere I go! The location is superb too: very calm and at the footstep of scenic walks along the forest and the spectacular dolina of Skocjan caves. Also good to reach by foot from the train station.
