The location is wonderful as well. Saint-Louis is not a touristy place so you get to experience the real Réunion. There is a great beach nearby, it’s called “Plage de l’Étang-Salé (15 mins by car). There is also a beautiful coast trail for walking/running/biking close to the apartment (5 mins on foot from the apartment). And there is an Auchan hypermarket and a Carrefour supermarket (in walking distance). We spent 4 weeks at the apartment. In the first 2 weeks during the weekdays I was working remotely, in the remaining time we used the apartment as our headquarters for exploring the island. The place was excellent for both purposes. Our hosts were wonderful. Very attentive to detail, super helpful, quick to respond and they respected our privacy. We absolutely loved our stay.
