The location is excellent, just around the corner from the ferry, a lovely ocean swimming pool and walking distance to wine tasting and restaurants. The apartment was very nicely decorated, heaps of storage, great air conditioning, well equipped and generally very comfortable and great value for money. There was even a communal washing machine that Patricia kindly said we could use.

Well equipped apartments in a good location. Andreia is a very friendly and caring host. We are very satisfied and highly reccomend it for couples and families.

Vinhas do Calhau ligger i Madalena på Pico-øya, 15 km fra Pico lufthavn, og tilbyr overnatting med gratis WiFi, en lekeplass, hage og avgiftsfri, privat parkering. The staff is wonderful. First, they helped us book a rental car after our plans fell through even though we were unable to find any available cars on the island. Also, our luggage was left behind by the airline and then delivered to the hotel after we had already left. Ana works reception at the hotel and called me to let me know so I could work with the airline to get it picked up and sent to our current island. Then Ana also called us when the bags were picked up. This was imperative because the airline made no attempt to let us know they had our bags. Ana told me the flight time from Pico to the island we were on and so we stopped by the airport and found our bags. They were separated away from the bags being delivered that day and had not been entered into the system. It took 5 days to get our bags and it would have been longer if not for Ana. We are so grateful for everyone there. Also the room was spacious with a great view.

Located in Prainha de Baixo in the Pico island region, Barrocas do Mar offers accommodation with access to a hot tub. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. apartment is nearly new and really had a lot of thoughts, design and architecture put into it. It had everything you need. The view is fantastic. Definitely recommend to stay there and will return if coming to Azores again.

AL - BOA NOVA is situated in Madalena. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Great apartment! The host, Miguel, is very responsive and helpful. The location is in the outskirts of Madalena on a calm and quiet street. The town center and the harbour can be reached by foot in less than 10 minutes. The apartment has everything travellers need, even a washing machine. I can definitely recommend BOA NOVA.

The peaceful location added to the overall experience, allowing us to unwind and enjoy the tranquility. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the host. Silvia was incredibly helpful and attentive, making our stay even more memorable. If you’re looking for a serene getaway, I highly recommend this lovely cottage!!

Alma do Pico - Nature Residence has an outdoor swimming pool with stunning views over Faial Island and the surroundings. The unit is in Pico Island and has views over the famed Pico Mountain. Nature, singing birds 🙏🏽
