The location was ideal, the apartment was very clean and well stocked. The communication information was thorough and made arrival and departure easy. And unlike most rentals they had an abundance of lights.

We loved the apartment and the town. Both were perfect for our motorbike tour. We loved the outdoor space, the excellent shower, great cooking facilities and the fact that we were in the heart of this welcoming community. We shall be back!

Modern and stylish inside with every mod con you could wish for. Rooms large and spacious and spotlessly clean. Garden quite large with one of those above ground pools on legs - quite adequate, and the water was clean and refreshing. The front door is a bit irritating as it locks itself if the wind blows the wrong way, which happened to me whilst I was in the pool. It could have been a bit of a disaster as I had nothing with me other than my swimming costume! Fortunately the old lady next door (who seemed very friendly and charming - but we couldn't really communicate as my Portuguese is negligible) has a spare key to the back door so was able to let me in. Internet excellent and fast. A very peaceful place in a small village high up in the mountains. A great place to unwind and escape the bustle of life. I had a great time there and would happily return.

The house was spacious and was well-equipped, appreciated the washing machine. There was a nearby town for a few groceries and restaurants.

The owners are really nice and even gifted us some fresh fruit from their surrounding gardens and some homemade Portwine which was just exceptional. Thanks for having us!
