The rooms are tidy and the outdoor area is great for chilling out. There is a kitchen in case you need to cook something or have breakfast. Bicycles are available to explore the island. The host is very friendly and we had a great time in Fare Mahei. You are picked up for boat trips and otherwise restaurants are within cycling distance or the pizzeria is within walking distance. We also recommend cycling to Tiputa pass to see the dolphins. The best time is between 16:00-17:00. We would always recommend the accommodation and look forward to staying here again on Rangiroa. We expected our stay in Tiputa to be slightly off the beaten path - and it was, for the best of it! The property is at the "remote" end of the village, on the ocean shore - enjoy the noise of breakers during the night! First floor, nice view. No light pollution - enjoy the view of the Milky Way at night. Beyond the beauty of Rangiroa (expected), we were warmly welcome by the owner's family, who did everything to make us feel at home. Bread, butter, jam were offered for breakfast, and the "restaurant" they recommended was... the neighbor's yard, with 4 tables and a "beware of the dog" sign on the porch. The dog is nice and well-behaved, the cook very friendly and focused on healthy local dishes with fresh (garden-plucked) ingredients, which were outstanding (and more than decently priced)! Thank you for everything, this was a highlight of our vacation in Tahiti.

It was prefect location and easy to cycle to tipatu pass to drift snorkel and see the dolphins, you can rent a bike from this property! Everything was great!

House is midway on island so it's easy to go to both ends by provided bikes. Market is a short walk away for supplies. Air-con was great as was the shower, and cold drinking water was a pleasant surprise.
