The host was very helpful, she even dropped us to the Peru Hop meeting point after we waited for an hour outside her apartment. She realised the meeting point had changed and herself and her husband dropped us to the bus. Would highly recommend.

With lake views, kaypi rosas wasi Amantani is located in Amantani and has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. Each room includes a balcony with river views. I loved my stay here. The family are beautiful and looked after me very well with delicious food, cultural education and support in arriving and leaving. The room is artistically painted, bed comfortable with a ton of blankets to keep you warm and you get a little hot water bottle in a sock, which is very thoughtful. Bathroom is new and tiled with ceramic toilet and sink, but there's no running water- use buckets which is not a problem. There is electricity. The island is serene with no cars. Staying with this family is a memory I will cherish and never forget. You could not ask for more kind, friendly and generous people. They were so happy to share their everyday life and culture and their big hearts! Highly recommended!

Be ready to climb a bit to get to the apartment ;).

the host is outstandingly helpful. being in this hostel feels like your visiting a friends apartment. super comfy beds, central location, sweet cats.
This place is perfect to stay at when you are in Puno. It’s right in the city center. The room was nice and clean, everything was fine. The price is law. You can go to El Mirador del Condor from where you can get a panoramic view of Puno. The lady at the reception was really helpful, it appears she was the manager. She let us take some fruits instead of breakfast since we had to check out at night.
Short stay of 1 day 2 nights. Room was comfortable and breakfast was very good though juices felt like they were watered down. Pancakes were a bonus. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially around booking a Rossy bus transfer to Juliaca airport for early on my last morning. Rossy had just closed for the weekend when I arrived and weren’t scheduled to reopen until too late on Monday morning. The reception staff sorted everything out for me and I caugh my 9am flight without any glitches.
really nice beds, the owner was so funny and generous about letting me leave my bags there and letting me hang out there until my bus came. really well priced tours, I wish I booked through her!! breakfast and Wifi where awesome. such good value for money
Our own private island on Titicaca. The host family only has one of these for rental, so you have their full attention. They offer a tour of the floating islands for 30 soles which I recommend instead of taking these group tours. The island also has a kayak, the price is included and breakfast was surprisingly rich in options!
