Super place for short stays and travel around. Kitchen and lounge area
Amazing location in a valley (wadi) right next to the dunes. Really off the beaten track. I had a little trouble getting up the first hill in my 4WD but let down your tyres to half pressure and take it at a reasonable speed. About 60 seconds of deflation should do it. Driving up the road to get there on the sand is an experience in itself.
The location is amazing just at the bottom of dunes. Very big and modern apartments. They were clean and fully equipped
- highly recommend booking the desert drive for 30 OMR (per car), this included the transfer to/from the camp from the parking lot. The drive to the camp includes a serious uphill section, a cheap 4x4 rental got stuck several and couldn't make it. The desert drive is lots of fun, the driver will drive to 2 viewpoints (for sunset) with fun dune driving in between.
Great experience staying in the desert. Really comfy and clean tent to sleep in. Camp was based near the top of the dunes which enabled great sunset/rise views. Able to go dune bashing or camel riding at a cost. Meeting point and tyre deflation for desert driving organised well and efficient.
Nice spot into the desert, near to Bidiya. We choose this place because we wanted to get there with our rental car, wich was NOT a 4WD vehicle. We read on other reviews that It was feasible and It Is actually correct even of you need to drive carefully and have some skills. The place is interesting, the tent are nice and the food Is delicious. We went into the desert at night with a local guide and It was a really nice experience. Highly recommended
Very large apartment - 120m2 with a perfect view to sand dunes. Good price, you don't need 4x4 to come there.
- good location close to the highway to Wadi Bani Khalid and also to the desert - apartment clean - good wifi (could handle video conversations)
Nice and big property with plenty of space - it is literally an entire apartment. the view of the dunes in the morning is beautiful. The staff is friendly and they did everything to accommodate our requests.
