Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides accommodation with free WiFi, mountain views, and access to 2 hot tubs and a sauna. Amazing location, clean and big apartment, great friendly host, everything. I have stayed here twice its amazing place to stay.

Rata Boutique Apartments er staðsett í 50 km fjarlægð frá Ruapehu-fjalli og býður upp á loftkæld gistirými með verönd og ókeypis WiFi. Gistirýmið er með nuddpotti og heitum potti. Wonderful little apartment that has all the amenities. Walking distance to ships and restaurants in the town, and very close to Tongariro for day hiking. Host was very direct and clear with their instructions and the hot tub was a nice bonus after a day of hiking. I only wish we had stayed here more than a single night, since it was a fantastic stay. Tongariro Estate Apartments and Holiday Home er staðsett í þjóðgarðinum og í aðeins 16 km fjarlægð frá Mount Ruapehu en það býður upp á gistirými með fjallaútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis... This holiday house has excellent views of Ruapehu, Tongariro and Ngauruhoe so we could see the changing face of these mountains throughout the day and night as the cloud and the mist came and went. The house is well placed to easily drive to the various access points to the Tongariro National Park, such as Whakapapa and Ohakune The kitchen was well equipped and spacious, so preparing meals was no hassle. The bedrooms were reasonably spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The hosts, Michael & Nicola, were very approachable, great to chat with and very helpful with local information. We would have loved to stay longer. This is a magical part of NZ (at least for an Australian !).
