We spend an hour at the hill behind the apartment and we chase stars just near the apartment. The views are so beautiful, lovely place for stay!

Fantastic space with an elevated position and a spectacular view of Lake Tekapo. Well designed, clean and comfortable, this modern 2-bedroom unit with expansive deck is a great place to stay for 2 couples traveling together. The fireplace was a nice addition for chilly evenings. The apartment is about a 3-minute drive to the supermarket, shops and restaurants of Lake Tekapo and about an hour from Aoraki Mt. Cook National Park. Very quiet neighborhood. Ample parking. Highly recommended.

Featuring beautiful lake and mountain views, The Mackenzie Suites offers luxurious accommodation located 600 metres from the village of Lake Tekapo. As soon as we arrived, the host greeted us and showed us all around the property and told us about all the amenities in our room. She also went through all of her recommendations around where to eat and what to do in the area. The room itself was beautiful and immaculately clean. It had sliding barn doors to close off the bed from the rest of the studio, a mini kitchen stocked with all the kitchenware you could need, and a the patio with outdoor furniture so you can sit and look out on Lake Tekapo. The apartment itself was only a 5 minute drive from downtown, which was also very convenient. We only stayed here for one night but wished we could've stayed longer!
