Don, the host was suuuuuuper nice and his hospitality is extraordinary. The apartament that we got had private access to the terrace and we literally had private jacuzzi as at the time there were no other people there! So cool! The host gave us super nice welcome gift, went for us to the Main street upon arrival when we got lost, also left us nice messages and access to washing and drying area.

The apartment was cozy and well set up. There was an added bonus of a teapot. This truly is a fully equipped studio apartment. It was super quiet and has smooth access with the key in a lock box. There is off street parking.

Lovely property, very welcoming and clean. The apartment had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Bed was very comfortable. A fantastic view with outdoor space. A good place to stay if you are visiting Taupo. I would recommend staying at Studio 28.
Perfect location, quiet, peaceful, safe and nice view, accessible! Nice neighborhood too. Comfortable bed, clean and warm room. Essentials are complete. Size of room acceptable for short stays. Over-all we liked our stay at Studio 28.
We stayed in the 1bedroom apartment - was amazing. Spacious, clean and equipped with every need for a family. No air con, but had a fan and a heater which worked really well at heating the entire apartment. It also had an upstairs room (quadruple room) to turn it into a 2 Bedroom apartment, if you have bigger numbers. Very close to town & eateries. We loved our stay.
Really spacious, well equipped apartment in great location on the lake, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Perfect base for exploring Taupo. We’re spending a month in NZ self catering, great to have such a well equipped kitchen.

It was the views that prompted us to book this place and they didn't disappoint - really great view of Taupo Lake from the deck of our loft apartment, The staff were helpful and it was useful having a covered carport - the weather was abysmal during our visit.
