The house is an easy bike ride or drive to the village but located at the quiet, shady end of town.

I don’t think there was one thing the apartment didn’t have! Hosts were lovely and very helpful indeed. Very close to the beach for nice walk. There isn’t too much in town (if you don’t get your food by 8pm you’re not eating anything) but the apartment had a great BBQ so the best thing to do is bring your food and drink and cook it there. We did that and it was great. Would definitely go back again!

Lovely shaded seated area to sit outside on a hot January day. Very helpful and lovely hosts. Will definitely stay here again when we come down to Waihi Beach.

Just 500 metres from Hahei Beach, Cathedral Cove Apartment offers free WIFI and shovels to explore the famous Hot Water Beach, an 8 minute drive away. Owner was lovely. They had thought of everything, very clean, very well designed, all your typical requirements fully met. Bed was comfortable, shower was very good.
