This apartment-hotel is in the "old town" part of Drammen, more charming and more restaurants compared to the other side of the river (based on my observation and the comments from my colleagues who were staying in hotels on the other side of the river). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Espresso machine worked well - more capsules available at the supermarket across the road. Bathroom well stocked with hand wash and lotion, shampoo/body wash and conditioner. Loved having the washing machine - there was a drying rack and things dried quickly overnight. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch in the living room. Easy to cast from your phone to the TV for apps like Youtube and I believe there was also Netflix. Lovely view of the Bragernes church tower from the window (I was on the top floor). Elin provided quick assistance when asked via the Bookings.com app. Easy to get into the building with the app (download Upkey before your stay....instructions to do this came while I was travelling and it was difficult to download on the move) or a provided keycard and into the apartment with a short number. Short walk over the bridge to the train station - note there is an elevator on the train station side but you have to look for it behind the staircase, and no stairs on the hotel side of the river. Wifi worked very well, in fact better than the office I was working at during the week. Coworker had an even nicer room across the hall from me.

The unit is soundproofed and is comprised of a parquet floors as well as a fireplace. This apartment is allergy-free and non-smoking. Stayed only one night at this gem. The owner is an amazing lady. Very sweet, nice and welcoming. I had made a wrong booking for one less person but she was very understanding and got us an extra towel and sheets. We could pay for the extra person with Vipps or cash. She had amazing stories to tell about the place that had been in her family for almost two centuries. She made waffels for us for breakfast just to be nice. All beds were very comfortable and kitchen is fully equipped. If I ever need a place to stay near Oslo again I will stay here!

The view was beautiful and there were plenty of places to sit outside and relax or enjoy your dinner or morning coffee. Parking was easy on the yard of the property.
