The studio was clean and of new construction. The host's welcome was very much appreciated, as was their accommodation of our slightly early arrival. The location is quite convenient for access to the harbor/ferry terminal and its delightful cafe, and not too far from the bus station either.

Situated in Balestrand, Balestrand Fjordapartments Holmen 19A features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. I think it is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed. Very spacious with really well thought layout. View of the fjord from large well equipped balcony to spend the evening on. Despite next to harbour absolutely quiet. We only wished we stayed longer as area is phenomenal

Olden Fjord Apartments is set in Olden and features a pool with a view and garden views. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. first of all the scenery is breath taking even in Norwegian standards. But more than that- during our visit we were hosted in more than 10 locations and this was unanimously agreed to be the best place. really up there with international standards. extremely clean, the furniture and appliances are top of the line and new. a plus- the washing machine also serves as a dryer (most places don't have this and problematic for one night stays). none of this business (that is apparently very common in Sweden and Norway) for an extra fee if you want linen and towels! in this place it is part of the service and the bedding and towels were superb. the interior design is very pleasing. you can tell that a lot of thought and care was put in to every aspect. for example if a place advertises it can sleep 6 some places don't provide enough chairs and space to seat everybody at the dining area - not the case here! it was the only place we experienced that offered an instant coffee machine with complimentary capsules. This is a standard courtesy now in hotel rooms in my country but apparently not yet in Norway. a small effort that gave us great pleasure.
